SIIM: DatCard highlights new PacsCube features

DatCard Systems is featuring its PacsCube 5.0 application at the 2009 Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) meeting this week in Charlotte, N.C.

The PacsCube solution records patient images and reports to a CD or DVD while also labeling the disc with facility and patient demographics.

New features of 5.0 include the the capability to create DICOM encrypted discs; a DCS DICOM viewer which does not require the user to download software to view images from the disc; and Media Import software version 1.5 (IHE-PDI, IRWF compliant).
