Solis names new CEO
Solis Women's Health, an independent U.S. provider of breast care, has appointed Brent C. McCarty as president and CEO, who will also join the company's board of directors.
McCarty brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to his position as CEO. Most recently, he was president and chief operating officer (COO) of Accuro Healthcare Solutions, a healthcare revenue cycle management technology company, according to the Austin, Texas-based Solis.
Previously, he was the COO for SemperCare, a long-term acute care hospital company that owned 17 hospitals in 11 states. Prior to his tenure with SemperCare, McCarty was COO of MediSphere Health Partners, which was owned and operated ambulatory surgery centers and specialty hospitals in partnership with physicians and hospital systems.
McCarty was also a founder and COO of CareSelect Group, a cardiology-focused physician practice management company. Prior to founding CareSelect, he helped start and was chief financial officer of Keystone Home Health Management, an organization that managed hospital-based home health agencies and also owned and operated freestanding home health agencies.
