St. Louis orthopedic surgery group installs Agfa CR

Mid County Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine has selected Agfa HealthCare to supply two new CR systems to service patients needing spine, bone and joint examinations.

Mid Country Orthopaedic, a division of Signature Medical Group in St. Louis, installed Agfa’s CR 30-X and CR 35-X systems, both of which include Agfa’s Musica2 image processing software.

The CR 30-X is a tabletop x-ray digitizer with image quality comparable to full-sized models, according to Mortsel, Belgium-based Agfa. The CR 35-X supports numerous applications and is designed for facilities experiencing a high volume of spinal examinations and other common orthopedic exams.
