TeraRecon sees 100% order growth for Aquarius products

TeraRecon Inc. of San Matea, Calif. announced this week that its U.S.-headquartered Aquarius 3D workstation and server operations have seen 100 percent annual sales order growth for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2004, compared with the same period the previous year.

The demand for TeraRecon's 3D medical imaging products is being driven by user need for clinical application tools capable of manipulating large thin-slice datasets created from multi-detector CT and MRI scanners, said Robert Taylor, PhD, COO.

The AquariusNET Server 3D thin-client is designed for PACS (picture archiving and communications system) integration using a simple application programming interface (API) to achieve a common patient worklist.
