TomoTherapy inks distribution deal with Hitachi

TomoTherapy has entered into an exclusive agreement with Hitachi Medical to distribute the Hi·Art cancer treatment system in Japan.

Through the agreement, the Tokyo-based Hitachi will market, sell and service the Hi·Art system, which facilitates CT-guided radiation therapy for a range of clinical indications, according to the Madison, Wis.-based TomoTherapy.
