Two hospitals are set to go with NovaRad NovaPACS

NovaRad has completed the installations of its PACS at Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette, Wyo., and Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko, Nev.

NovaPACS includes servers, viewers, offsite archives and workstations.

Campbell County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) integrated NovaPACS with its existing RIS. The installation was completed in November 2003 and CCMH now is operating in a 100 percent filmless environment.

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital installed NovaPACS and an Xpress computed radiography (CR) scanner from Konica Minolta Medical Imaging USA. Northeastern noted that the PACS and CR technologies combined have improved the hospital's workflow, increasing the quality of service to its patients.
