UltraRad and PointDx to integrate respective technologies

UltraRad Corp. and PointDx Inc. will collaborate to develop an interface between its mutual technology imaging solutions.

PointDx's REX software is an advanced radiology reporting system designed to help radiologists analyze digital images, produce multi-media reports, and deliver them with improved efficiency.

The companies see REX as complementary to UltraRad's existing portfolio of scalable, non-proprietary technology products for hospitals and independent imaging centers. Plans are to complete the integration in the first quarter of 2004.

UltraRad provides scalable, non-proprietary sales and support technology to the hospital and independent imaging markets. PointDx specializes in integrated image analysis and structured reporting software for diagnostic radiology.
