VHA announces new organization members

Healthcare cooperative VHA Inc. appointed a new board chairman and added three members to its board of directors.

The individuals were elected at this month's annual VHA shareholder meeting in San Diego.

The new board chairman is Joseph A. Zaccagnino, president and chief executive officer of Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health System. The new board members are J. Lindsey Bradley Jr., FACHE, president and chief administrative officer of Trinity Mother Frances Health System LLP in Chicago; and Joel Wernick, president and chief executive officer of Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Albany, Ga.
