VitalWorks sees dips in Q2 results

VitalWorks Inc. saw a slight decline in Q2 revenues for the quarter ending June 30th, as well posting a loss. Total revenues for the quarter were $27.9 million, compared with $28.2 million in the second quarter of 2003. The company reported a net loss of $9,000, compared with $4.2 million in the year-ago quarter.

For the six-month period, revenues amounted to $54.7 million, compared with $56.8 million in the first half of FY03. Net income reached $2,175, compared with $6.9 million in the year-ago period.

According to VitalWorks, the amounts for 2004 include the operating results of Amicas Inc., which was acquired by the company on Nov. 25, 2003.
