WebMD reports increased revenue

WebMD Corp. has announced its key financial results from first quarter 2005 with revenue at $303.9 million compared to $271.2 million from the previous year same period, reflecting an increase of 12.1 percent. Pre-tax income, non-cash and other items for this period was $38.8 million compared to $28.2 million compared to a year ago. WebMD's net income for the first quarter was $9.8 million compared to $5.7 million in first quarter 2004, according to WebMD.
