PACSGear launches new robotic CD/DVD burner

PACSGear, a provider of document and multimedia connectivity for PACS/EHR, has added MediaWriter D35, a single-drive robotic CD/DVD burner for imaging centers and departments, to its product lineup.

Planned for launch at the 2009 Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) conference, the MediaWriter D35 uses the Primera Bravo SE disc publisher to burn and print DICOM CDs/DVDs from web browsers with one click, according to the Pleasonton, Calif.-base firm. The Bravo SE has a single CD/DVD drive and a capacity of 20 discs, giving imaging centers and outlying departments a DICOM distribution solution.
