PET podcast now on iTunes

MIMvista has launched Clinical PET Cast, an educational resource for radiologists and other medical professionals to increase knowledge in the clinical applications and principles of PET imaging, on iTunes.

Clinical PET Cast is hosted by Peter Faulhaber MD, director of Clinical PET at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland. “My focus for this podcast is to increase practical knowledge in the clinical applications and principals of PET imaging,” commented Faulhaber. “The development of PET imaging is also an interesting human story that intersects with technology and the development of FDG.”

Each podcast in the series is approximately 15 minutes in length and consists of a PET issue and applicable clinical techniques, along with historical anecdotes from the development and evolution of PET imaging.

The most recent episode on the Clinical PET Cast is on clinical indication for PET approved by CMS. MIMvista, a provider of medical imaging and fusion software, sponsors Clinical PET Cast.
