Toshiba deploys portable ultrasound at Fla. facility

Florida Hospital Fish Memorial, based in Orange City, Fla., has selected Toshiba America Medical Systems portable ultrasound technology, the Xario XG ultrasound system.

The four ultrasound systems will be used for imaging the bariatric patient population and imaging patients at bedside, as well as assisting with ultrasound-guided biopsies and fluid draining, breast imaging, 4D imaging for OB/GYN exams and general radiology, said the Tustin, Calif.-based company.
