Aurora Breast MRI Society collaborates with Chinese Association for breast care

The Aurora Breast MRI Society of North Andover, Mass., has formed a collaborative program with the China Medical Women’s Association of Beijing to improve breast cancer care in China and the U.S.

A professional exchange program is the first curriculum being developed for the collaboration, whereby research specialists from China will be sponsored to spend two-to-three weeks in U.S. breast centers to learn about breast imaging modalities and their use in the detection, diagnosis and treatment monitoring of breast cancer.

The Boston-based Aurora Imaging Technology has committed itself as the first corporate underwriter of the program.
