RSNA: Penrad acquires Clarios Compass breast MRI software

PenRad Technologies (Booth 4600) has purchased Clario Medical Imaging's Compass breast MRI visualization and analysis software, which PenRad will launch at the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), Nov. 28 to Dec. 3, in Chicago.

Compass is a breast MRI visualization and analysis software system that provides image surface and parametric maps, maximum intensity projection, registered subtraction, 3D display and visual enhancement of time/intensity changes of breast lesions, according to PenRad.

Clario originally developed the software, which has received FDA clearance. Compass can be purchased as a stand-alone software program or integrated into PenRad's PenView Women's Imaging Workstation.
