FDA green-lights iCAD platform for Philips mammo system

The FDA has approved iCAD’s PowerLook Advanced Mammography Platform (AMP) CAD for Philips’ MicroDose digital mammography system.

PowerLook AMP allows radiologists to customize their CAD system to meet the needs of their work environment, according to Nashua, N.H.-based iCAD. iCAD’s PowerLook AMP’s DICOM connectivity technology supports integration with Philips’ IntelliSpace Breast workstation as well as compatibility with multiple PACS and review workstations.
