If July's most popular stories are to be believed, it may have been a disappointing month for people with facial fillers, Lululemon leggings and a slew of women who had mammograms at one Florida hospital during the last two years. The month also raised concerns among safety advocates, as July brought news of yet another serious MRI accident. On a brighter note for patient safety, CMS proposed a new set of CPT codes that would reimburse providers for the added work that goes into ensuring patients can safely undergo MRI exams.
