ALLPRO debuts CR system with lower price tag
ALLPRO Imaging has introduced a digital computed radiography (CR) system that is economically priced and designed for smaller medical offices. The new ScanX 14 In-Counter unit features phosphor storage plates (PSP) that can be reused thousands of times. The plates are inserted directly into the scanner which produces high-resolution images and erases the plate for reuse. This entire read/erase cycle is completed in only 55 seconds for a 14 X 17 inch plate, the company said.
Designed to load and operate in normal room lighting, the system features an exclusive design and patented transport system. Digital imaging not only allows image enhancement for better diagnosis but also the electronic storage and transfer of the images.
Weighing in at just 43 pounds, this self-contained imaging system is designed for installation into a standard cabinet counter top, and produces images from 8" X 10" up to 14" X 17." The unit's overall dimensions are 28 1/4" wide by 18 1/4" deep by 10" high above the counter. Depth below the counter is only 4 3/16."
