Matrox adds to display controller boards

Matrox Graphics Inc. is introducing the newest addition to its line of Aurora VX series of display controller boards, the Aurora VX3mp, at the International Technical Exhibition of Medical Imaging (ITEM), in Yokohama, Japan, April 8 - 10.
   
The low profile, single board, PCI Express system can power as many as three displays and provide medical imaging professionals with image versatility and improved quality, Matrox said.
   
The Aurora VX3mp supports one navigation console with resolution of 2-megapixel (MP) analog, color or grayscale, and can also support another two twin image displays of 3MP digital.
   
Other features include the capability to drive various combinations of color and grayscale displays in portrait and/or landscape modes, and features an 8- and 10-bit display output for 256 or 1024 simultaneous shades of gray.
