ETIAM shows DICOM Izer video

ETIAM this week at SCAR announced an additional line extension of its DICOM Izer acquisition and conversion software. DICOM Izer VIDEO is a video acquisition and conversion tool capable of integrating with any PACS system. By providing an easy-to-use interface, a connectivity to HIS/RIS for patient worklist, and support of a wide array of media and interfaces, DICOM Izer VIDEO is built to allow for relatively simple ways to select, edit, and convert cine images to DICOM objects (US, XA, VL). This capability includes the recent standard extensions like DICOM-MPEG. The tool is also able to store the converted sequences on PACS and DICOM CD/DVD archives, ETIAM said.
