Brit PACS adds tools for the radiologist
PACS vendor Brit Systems Inc. is showing at SCAR Version 2.3 of its Linux-based PACS Diagnostic Workbench that improves the efficiency of reading and diagnosing electronic patient images. The system is equipped with enhanced 3D and MPR tools, as well as mouse collaborator tools that let the radiologist know exactly what other doctors are doing with the patient images, Brit said.
Brit also is featuring its Brit View Light -- a thin-client product that does not need to be installed and can run off a browser. The system serves distributed environments for referring physicians or radiologists reading in remote locations.
