Kodak, SSI ink co-marketing deal

Eastman Kodak Co. and The SSI Group Inc. (SSI) have announced a new co-marketing agreement that will have each company marketing the other's medical imaging, information and software products within the U.S.
   
The specific products involved are Kodak's RIS (radiology information system)/PACS (picture archiving and communications system) and SSI's ClickOn software that allows healthcare organizations to use electronic data interchange (EDI) for such areas as claims processing, remittance advices, claim status, treatment authorization and eligibility inquiries, according to a joint company release.
