e-HIM announces EHR workshop

e-HIM has announced that it will be offering a one-day workshop "Turning Theory into Practice: The Next Steps for e-HIM," at the Marriot Downtown Hotel in Chicago, on May 25th. The focus of the workshop will be the process of moving from a paper-based to an electronics health records (EHR) system, e-HIM said.
   
The workshop will feature author Margret Amatayakul, MBA, RHIA, CHPS, FHIMSS along with AHIMA (American Health Information Management Association) staff. They will cover a wide range of topics for achieving EHR in the context of organizational challenges, migrating to an EHR, and the basics of the technology and tools essential to operation.
