Healthlink, Christus ink $4 million agreement

Dallas-based Christus Health has awarded Healthlink Inc., a Houston-based healthcare information systems consulting firm, a $4 million agreement to standardize its IT-enabled clinical, business, and financial processes.
   
Healthlink will lead the redesign of Christus' clinical and patient administrative processes and guide its business transformation in conjunction with the healthcare provider's recent MediTech implementation.
   
The timeframe for implementation of the project is 24 months and will encompass eight regions totaling 25 acute care sites in Texas and Louisiana, as well as two long-term care facilities in Louisiana and Utah.
