Radiologix promotes Abbasi

Radiologix Inc. has named Sami S. Abbasi as COO to oversee field operations and corporate services.

 Abbasi has been with the health imaging services provider since August 1996, joining the company as senior vice president and CFO. Through December 1999, Abbasi directed all of Radiologix's capital markets and acquisition initiatives.

 He rejoined Radiologix in December 2000 as executive vice president and CFO, serving in those positions for the last 34 months. In 2000, Abbasi served as COO and CFO of Adminiquest Inc., which provided web-enabled and full-service outsourcing to the insurance and benefits industry.
