SonoSite Inc. announces three executive appointments

Henry A. Krause has joined hand-held ultrasound developer and manufacturer SonoSite as vice president of international sales and distribution. Krause's career spans more than 20 years, serving in international positions and divisions with medical device companies, such as Becton-Dickinson, Abbott Laboratories and Spacelabs Medical.

 SonoSite also named Kent Mueller as director of strategic marketing and business development. Mueller will oversee the development of new markets and applications, initially in Europe and North America, and spearhead the evolution of the company's long-term strategy. Mueller previously held senior global marketing, business development and strategic planning roles at Baxter Healthcare and Brunswick.

The Bothell, Wash. company also named Marla Koreis as the vice president of human resources. Koreis previously served as director of human resources at the former business-to-business Internet company ImageX and vice president of human resources at SeaMed, a designer and manufacturer of advanced durable electronic medical equipment.
