Siemens to debut syngoOR software

Siemens Medical Solutions is set to launch its new syngoOR software platform to enhance the flow of information from medical imaging equipment, workstations and IT systems to operating room equipment and systems.

syngoOR is designed for integration with OR1 from Karl Storz Endoscopy-America Inc. OR1 provides equipment management and control throughout an OR, including networking of endoscopic and surgical components, and the integration of peripherals.

syngoOR provides direct access on one workstation to patient data and health imaging information, as well as an intuitive user interface, standardized documentation and archiving.

syngoOR will make its debut this weekend in Chicago at the 89th annual meeting of the American College of Surgeons.
