eRAD/ImageMedical, MedLink link

Web-based PACS provider eRAD/ImageMedical and MedLink VPN Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Western Media Group Corp., have inked an agreement to deliver medical image management systems.

Concurrent with the agreement, MedLink will offer eRAD/ImageMedical's web-based PACS PracticeBuilder1.2.3 along with its MedLink VPN (virtual private network) portal. The VPN portal will provide secure and HIPAA-compliant telecommunications so that physicians can transfer patient data, billing, insurance claims and other correspondence through a secure network environment.

The pair said it plans to install the integrated systems at locations in New York and California that have already implemented the MedLink VPN.
