Arnot Health selects Misys EMR
Arnot Health (Arnot Ogden Medical Center and Arnot Medical Services) in Elmira, N.Y., has purchased Misys Healthcare Systems' EMR physician office ambulatory clinical system for its affiliated physician group.
Arnot Medical Services' multi-specialty group of 65 physicians and physician extenders (nurse practitioners and physician assistants) will use Misys EMR at its 10 locations. Misys EMR is a wireless point-of-care electronic medical records system for patient information and automates record keeping processes. The first phase of system implementation is slated first quarter 2005.
According to Misys, the contract includes options to purchase Misys Image Management powered by eRad/ImageMedical developed technology, Misys Media Manager for the hospital, and Misys practice management system paired with Misys EMR for community-based physician practices.
Arnot Ogden Medical Center uses Misys CPR and said it expects implementing Misys EMR will enhance the acceleration of CPOE to its medical staff.
