IDC reports strong DR system sales

Imaging Dynamics Company (IDC) has received 50 new sales orders for its line of Xplorer DR (digital radiography) products since November's Radiological Society of North America show.

The recently introduced Xplorer 1600 represents the majority of new orders received in North America through national IDC distributors SourceOne and Merry X-Ray, along with a network of independent local dealers, IDC said. End users consist of hospitals, imaging and outpatient centers and orthopaedic clinics throughout the United States.

IDC said it has also landed some installations outside the United States, including sites in China, Korea and Germany. IDC is in the midst of installing its first DR units into France, Spain, Colombia, and Dubai, U.A.E.
