Daou introduces storage capability with InSiteOne

Daou Systems Inc. has partnered with InSiteOne Inc. to add secure digital image management capabilities to its web integration architecture offered to hospitals and other healthcare organizations.

The integrated technologies will grant clinicians full access to and manipulation of digital images in the context of other clinical and demographic data through Daou's emPOWERnet web system and InSiteOne's DICOM on-site, off-site storage technology. Daou said this will help organizations struggling with the challenges of how best to store, distribute, archive and provide security for the growing number of digital images used in healthcare today.
