Array Corp. USA and Fujifilm Medical sign digitizer marketing pact
Fujifilm Medical Systems USA Inc. will market Array Corp. USA's Array 2905 HD laser film digitizer through a newly signed distribution agreement.
The agreement provides Fuji the ability to offer a portal for existing radiographs into the digital world by marketing the Array 2905 HD to its industrial clients incorporating digital technologies into their non-destructive testing/non-destructive examination (NDT/NDE) programs. Clients range from testing and aerospace engineering to the U.S. Armed Forces and emerging technologies companies.
On the medical side, Fuji has more than 18,000 computed radiography (CR) systems installed worldwide, producing more than 1.5 million images per day.
The Array 2905 HD is designed to scan 2K resolution in seven seconds, accommodate different film lengths (scanning 14x17 film at 50 micrometer pixel spacing) and automatically feed up to 100 films loaded at once.
