Dalsa debuts FPX-CMOS for breast imaging

Dalsa Corp. has launched a new digital cassette camera for spot imaging and stereotactic biopsy.

Dalsa says the FPX-CMOS offers a larger field-of-view than previous cameras. The company says lesion detection is enhanced and biopsy procedure time is reduced, because the FPX-CMOS does not need to be repositioned during stereotactic imaging. The device also provides for 16-bit imaging.
