IDX Systems, Fujitsu Services receive NHS bid

IDX Systems Corp. has teamed with Fujitsu Services in a bid to deliver clinical information technology systems and services to the United Kingdom National Health Service (NHS) for the Southern region.

The NHS announced that Fujitsu Services, the European-centered IT services arm of the Fujitsu Group, has been appointed as local service provider to help the NHS in its drive to improve healthcare for patients in the Southern region.

Under a subcontract, IDX has agreed to provide the core clinical application for the delivery of patient care across the region.
