Meditech names new chairman of medical advisory board

Medical Information Technology Inc. (Meditech) welcomes Russel Ricci, MD, as chairman of the company's Medical Advisory Board.

Ricci currently serves as the chief medical and strategy officer for HealthStar Communications of Woodbridge, N.J. In addition, Ricci is the chairman emeritus of the e-Health Initiative, a membership organization comprised of more than 100 healthcare organizations created to provide a unified voice for the health care industry on the role of information technology-related issues in health care.
