Leading pediatric hospital installs MedPlus enterprise-wide EPR

The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta will implement MedPlus' enterprise-wide electronic patient record (EPR) system, ChartMaxx.

It is the fifth children's hospital in the United States to select ChartMaxx for record management.

According to MedPlus, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta will deploy ChartMaxx in all clinical areas across its two hospitals and ambulatory sites, including the health information departments and the emergency room. Its 1,287 physicians will utilize ChartMaxx and its electronic signature feature to complete charts via the Internet.

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is a not-for-profit organization with 430 licensed beds in two children's hospitals and 16 satellite locations around metro Atlanta including five immediate care centers, four primary care centers and other facilities providing outpatient rehabilitation and other specialty care.
