Wireless brought to HIMSS by McKesson and Intel

McKesson Information Solutions and Intel Corp. demonstrated the benefits of digital and wireless healthcare technology at HIMSS 2004.

Both companies sponsored a campus-wide, high-speed Wi-Fi network access at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., during the show. HIMSS attendees were able to stay connected during the conference with their Wi-Fi-enabled mobile devices for wireless e-mail and Internet access.
