Siemens appoints Latimer as new chief nursing officer

Siemens Medical Solutions USA Inc. has appointed Gail E. Latimer, MSN, RN, to the newly created position of chief nursing officer (CNO).

Latimer was formerly senior vice president and chief nursing executive at Holy Redeemer Health System and SVP/chief operating officer at Holy Redeemer Hospital and Medical Center in Meadowbrook, Pa.

In her new position, Latimer will work with clinical product developers, customers and advisory groups to help drive the development of Siemens' clinical information technology (IT).
