Imaging Diagnostic Systems announces retirement of Chairman/CEO

Imaging Diagnostic Systems Inc. Chairman, CEO and co-founder Linda B. Grable has stepped down from those positions, effective April 15.

Grable has been CEO since August 2001 and has served as chairman since the company's inception in 1993.

The board has appointed Jay S. Bendis and Sherman Lazrus as co-chairmen in the interim as a search begins for a new CEO. Allan L. Schwartz, executive vice president and CFO, will serve as interim CEO until a new CEO is appointed.

Imaging Diagnostic Systems developed the CT Laser Mammography (CTLM) breast imaging system, which has received CE Marking approval in Europe, as well as clearance in Canada. The company is seeking pre-market approval (PMA) from the FDA for its CTLM system as an adjunct to mammography.
