Molecular Imaging signs pact with Signet Diagnostic Imaging Services Group
Molecular Imaging Corp. will provide positron emission tomography (PET) scanning services under a new multi-year agreement with Signet Diagnostic Imaging Services Group LLC.
Molecular Imaging will use a PET/CT unit to initially service six of Signet's medical imaging centers in Florida. Signet currently operates 16 multi-modality medical imaging centers in Florida and Puerto Rico.
"As patients and their doctors become more acquainted with PET/CT technology, and its potential for improving patient care, the demand for access to services will escalate," said Peter S. Conti, M.D., Ph.D., chairman of Molecular Imaging's medical advisory board.
