North Mississippi Medical Center takes A4's EMR technology

Electronic medical records (EMR) firm A4 Health Systems will install its HealthMatics ED system in North Mississippi Medical Center (NMMC).

The Tupelo, Miss., hospital chose A4's HealthMatics ED system as its emergency department information system (EDIS) to automate information from more than 56,000 annual patients. Approximately 75 hospital employees will utilize the technology to enhance clinical care, workflow and administrative efficiencies, as well as reduce hospital costs.

NMMC is a 650-bed facility, which provides care to 650,000 residents in north Mississippi.
