Candelis Inc., a medical imaging informatics company, today announced that Cabrini Medical Center of New York City and University of California, Irvine Cardiovascular Imaging Center, have selected the ImageGrid 1000 as their dedicated image management and PACS for high-capacity cardiac 64-slice computed tomography (CT) imaging.
Aspyra announced it has contracted a 241-bed independent community-based healthcare facility in Chicago with Holy Cross Hospital, to provide Aspyra’s CyberLAB Laboratory information System (LIS) and CyberPATH Anatomic Pathology systems. Aspyra’s CyberLAB is a scalable LIS solution for the hospital, clinic, and reference laboratory settings. CyberLAB features decision support tools with auto-verification, automated clinical reporting and multisite management. Aspyra’s CyberPATH Anatomic Pathology System is designed by pathologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize efficient and cost-effective work-flow applications for anatomic pathology and cytology departments.
Smith Northview Hospital, a 31-bed facility in rural Georgia, has selected Optio's subscription-based electronic health record (EHR) QuickRecord to provide physicians with remote access to lab results. With QuickRecord, physicians and caregivers will have instant access to a patient's health record, resulting in more timely and informed treatment decisions. Referring physicians will be notified electronically when patients' test results are available and can securely view clinical data online from any Internet portal. Also, Smith Northview will be able to consolidate all of their electronic data into one composite patient view.
