A4 Health Systems launches tool to enhance online capabilities

A4 Health Systems is unveiling its online practice tool, HealthMatics Access, designed to improve patient relations and reduce administrative burdens.

HealthMatics Access allows physicians to provide patients online practice services and information, including bi-directional messaging, appointment requests, insurance and demographic updates, prescription refills and lab results.

Within HealthMatics Access, My Health Portfolio is a designated area for patients to create password-protected individual medical records, where they can view medical information and share other pertinent information. The tool also allows for the transferal of information between the practice's Web site and HealthMatics EMR (electronic medical record).

A4 also says HealthMatics Access Web sites are template-driven and have two sections -- one accessible by the public and the other is password protected with a required login to provide secure access to patient information.
