Philips goes for the Gold
Philips Medical Systems has renewed its Gold level sponsorship of the ASRT (American Society of Radiologic Technologists) Education and Research Foundation's Healthcare Industry Advisory Council (HCIAC).
Meeting annually, the council discusses emerging trends in technology as well as in trends in the radiologic science profession. The next meeting will be held in May in San Mateo, Calif.
Philips has been a supporter of HCIAC since its inception in 1999.
Philips said it has developed a number of new technologies focused on the career needs of radiation technologists and therapists. Philips invests in research and development in order to make their products easier to use and ergonomically correct.
Philips' "Sense and Simplicity" brand campaign simplifies technology by improving workflow, patient comfort and technologist-to-patient contact. The Philips' Ambient Experience focuses on patient-centric design by giving the technologist the opportunity to know their patient better by allowing them to spend more time with them and to personalize their patient's experience.
