Rideout joins Cisco's IBSG team

Cisco Systems Inc. has appointed Jeffrey Rideout, MD, MA, FACP, to its Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG). At Cisco, Rideout will play an influential role in working with healthcare and public sector leaders to help them use technology to accelerate transformation of the health care industry.

Rideout joins Cisco from Blue Shield of California where he served as President/CEO of the Blue Shield of California Foundation and as senior vice president and chief medical officer.
