NEC names Jones general manager of Health Care Solutions Division

NEC Solutions America Inc. has appointed Lauryn Jones to general manager of its Health Care Solutions Division (HCSD).

The new business unit will focus on assisting healthcare companies to optimize their business value by aligning information technology (IT) with core business processes and strategic goals. Jones will oversee the development and expansion of NEC's health care technology systems and service offerings in North America.

Prior to NEC, Jones served as VP of enterprise solutions for Ingenix Inc., a healthcare IT subsidiary of United Health Group (UHG). Prior to UHG, Jones was senior VP, sales and marketing at HNC Software (now part of Fair Isaac Corp.).
