InSight announces changes in senior management

InSight Health Services Corp. has appointed Michael N. Cannizzaro, the company's chairman of the board, to president and CEO. Cannizzaro is an operating partner of JW Childs Associates LP of Boston, Mass. and brings 27 years of healthcare industry management experience to InSight.

Cannizzaro takes helm of InSight following the departure of Steven T. Plochocki, former president and CEO. According to Insight, Plochocki is planning to pursue other interests and opportunities. Plochocki served the company for over four and a half years.

In addition, InSight also announced this week that Michael S. Madler, executive vice president-fixed division, has left the company. Madler worked for the company for nearly 8 years.
