Amrami joins Orex for R&D

Roni Amrami, PhD, has joined Orex Computed Radiography as VP for research and development.

Orex said Amrami comes to Orex after four years as head of physics and science at V-Target Technologies of Tirat Carmel, Israel. At V-Target, Amrami led the development of new imaging applications for radiology, nuclear medicine and infrared imaging.

Prior to this, Orex said Amrami was an engineer and designer at GE Medical Systems and Elscint where he designed PET and SPECT nuclear medicine imaging instrumentation and developed new detection technologies including BGO, LSO, CdTe and CZT.
