Meditech, Fuji reveal alliance

Medical Information Technology Inc. (Meditech) and Fujifilm Medical Systems USA have successfully integrated each other's respective technologies and this week revealed improved clinical outcomes from providers using Meditech's RIS with Fuji's Synapse PACS, as well as Meditech's Enterprise Medical Record (EMR) with Fuji's PACS.

The pair said Meditech's RIS, EMR, and Fuji's PACS are currently installed at over 40 sites across the United States, including 16 HCA (Hospital Corporation of America) sites, such as Swedish Medical Center in Denver, Colo., and Sierra View District Hospital in Porterville, Calif.
