JACHO appoints director of external relations

The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JACHO) this week appointed Rosemary Burke as director of External Relations. Burke will act as a liaison to the healthcare purchaser community and manage the Joint Commission's Business Advisory Group.

Burke most recently served three years as a board member and senior consultant with Jeri Davis Healthcare Consultants of Silver Spring, Md. Previously, she held executive-level positions with managed behavioral healthcare providers Value Behavioral Health of Connecticut, and First Hospital Corporation of Falls Church, Va.
